Jamaican Coconut Banana Treats

Just came back from a wonderful vacation to Jamaica and my daughter and I were watching one of her shows when they shared a simple yet tasty recipe for a healthy treat.

It’ll take all of 5 minutes to prepare.

Banana TreatIngredients

1 banana

2 tbsp of cocoa powder

1 dash of cinnamon (optional)

1/2 cup of fresh shredded coconut

Directions

Get a coconut (if not available from your grocery store then buy pre-shredded but be mindful of added artificial ingredients), break it open and shred 1/2 cup.

Spread cocoa powder on a plate and mix in cinnamon to taste if you desire.

Peel and cut the banana in equal sized sections.

Roll each banana section in the cocoa powder then place on a serving plate.

Sprinkle coconut on each banana section.
